Ms. Kirschenbaum joined the Upper School Math Faculty at MBS in 2017 after teaching for a few years in New York City.

While math remains her passion, Ms. Kirschenbaum believes strongly in the MBS mission of writing across the curriculum, an educational tenet unique to MBS that drew her away from teaching more traditional math classes in the public school environment. Her undergraduate degree in history – accompanied by a minor in statistics – from Kenyon College continues to enable her to explore the harmony of these social sciences.

In addition to being the faculty advisor to The Crimson Sun, Ms. Kirschenbaum teaches AP Statistics, Statistics & Data Analysis, Probability Theory, and Integrated Math 2 Honors.
